Raptor Charging Handles

Radian Weapons helped bring the AR15 into the 20th Century with the introduction of the Raptor Charging Handle. The Raptor combines a patented ambidextrous handle design with a handle size and shape that are just right. The Radian is available in several models.

The original Radian Raptor has all the great patented features and is generally the best choice for most users. The Radian Raptor LT is a lighter, budget priced alternative to the original that combines high strength aluminum handles with a tough fiberglass reinforced polymer over-molding for a perfect blend of price, strength and weight savings. The Radian Raptor SD is the silencer optimized version with patented ventilation slots in the charging handle shaft that vent firing gasses away from the shooters face for more comfortable suppressed shooting. The Radian Raptor SL is the slim-line model with shorter handles that are less likely to snag on gear and also more comfortable against the body when the rifle is slung. The Raptor SD SL combines the features of both the SD and SL models into one do-it-all wonder handle.

A variety of colors and finishes are available including Black, FDE, Radian Brown and Tungsten Grey in most models. New colors in 2019 are OD Green and Radian Grey. NP3 is also an available finish on some models. Raptor Competition models even feature eye-catching red and blue handles.
