Radian Raptor AR10 Charging Handles

The AR10 was the predecessor of the AR15 and the early versions of the AR10 positioned the charging handle inside the carry handle directly above the bolt carrier group. For several reasons this proved less than ideal and as a result, the charging handle was redesigned and relocated to today's familiar location at the rear of the upper receiver.

Radian Weapons (AXTS) helped bring the AR-15 into the 21st Century with the introduction of their patented Raptor ambidextrous charging handle. Characteristics include a patented ambidextrous handle design, 7075 MILSPEC Type III hard anodized aluminum construction, oversized roll pins for strength, limited lifetime warranty and 100% designed and manufactured in the USA.
That same technology and innovation was then applied to the AR10 and the result is the best AR10 charging handle on the market.

Below: Hard anodized aircraft quality 7075 aluminum handles are over-molded with high strength, fiberglass reinforced polymer. That change to the handle construction saves weight and saves you money. The body of the charging handle is unchanged from the original. This is a great way to make a fast improvement to your AR10. Some folks prefer the feel of the over-molded handles over the original.

Below: Silencer optimized for the suppressed AR10 shooter. Handles are identical to the original, but with a ported shaft to redirect gasses down and forward, away from a shooter's face when shooting suppressed. This is a novel solution to the problem of gas -in-the-face that is common with suppressed guns and it works very well.

Below: All the advantages of the original but finished in NP3, a proprietary finish offered by Robar Inc. It is an electroless nickel-based finish for steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloys that co-deposits sub-micron particles of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), otherwise known as Teflon™, with electroless nickel. It is extremely slick while also being very corrosion resistant. It has a dull gray finish darker than chrome and nickel boron.
