Finish is Black Nitride which is a metal treatment that produces a case-hardened surface. The resulting finish is extremely wear and corrosion resistant. It is also very slick, especially compared to the traditional phosphate finish. This means that all contact surfaces of the BCG will experience less friction and smoother, more reliable function. Easy clean-up of this smooth surface is a nice bonus. The rich black color on these BCGs looks great on the Black Rifle!

This is a .223/5.56/300 Blackout bolt carrier group.

This AR BCG will not work with 6.5/6.8/308 etc.

Note: Some dealers are selling Toolcraft BCGs that have been finished after leaving Toolcraft. The finish on those BCGs would not be warrantied by Toolcraft. All Toolcraft bolt carrier groups sold by SpiceTac include the 100% no-questions-asked Toolcraft warranty.
